We decided to have Drew's Blessing this past weekend since ALL but one member (McKenna's husband, Josef) of either of our families was here...in Utah!! The date just happened to be Drew's original due date... so we thought it helped tie everything together. 
We had several extended family members here for the blessing and it was such a nice day! Silas had been preparing for this day for quite a while. After several daddy/son talks the day finally arrived! Sigh was nervous but, we both felt the comfort and peace from the spirit from being at church together for the first time since a couple weeks before Drew was born! It was so nice to have our families there! I can't believe it was MY baby that was being blessed!! Silas was prompted to say such wonderful things to Drew. He did a beautiful job. Drew looked so handsome in his white blessing "suit" and special blessing blanket that Grandma Lori made for our family. Oh and who is that good looking Daddy??

That first picture is so sweet of Drew...what a little angel!
I'm so sorry we missed his blessing Amy. Bill's brother, Trent, blessed their new baby on Sunday too (at the exact same time), otherwise we would have tried to go to both.

Silas did do such a great job. We were glad that we got to be there! Your pictures are awesome...what a cute little guy you have.
My little Paul had the exact same blessing outfit. Your little Drew is just so darling. What a great day for a blessing.
