Drew is pretty special to us. We thank the Lord for him quite often. Last Saturday, I had to work, so I didn't get to spend much time with him. And, throughout the week, it seemed my time with him was terribly limited as well. And, it is incredible how one can feel so distant just within a couple weeks.
Don't get me wrong. I see Drew everyday. But with all the time Amy gets with him, I feel like he looks at me as that guy who works all the time...
So, today, he did something that made me feel like a million bucks. I was doing the dishes while he was playing and out of nowhere he came over and hugged the back of my legs. A couple times. We show affection to him all the time, but this was totally voluntary on his part and it means the world to me.
