We just had a wonderful weekend...so many fun and exciting things! Here are the first two days...
Friday morning Silas and I drove to the airport to pick up his mom Chris and Grandma Ruthie. They flew in from San Diego for the baby shower that mom, Val, and Jill gave me on Saturday. It was so fun to have them come up for this fun event!! We spent a lot of the day, Friday, down at BYU checking out the Creamery on 9th and at the bookstore for a bit. Chris works for a little convenience store on the UCSD campus and they are getting ready to open a bigger store like the Creamery. We had fun checking it out and it was fun, yet weird to be on campus again...especially pregnant!
Saturday was the baby shower. It felt like Christmas Eve and morning...all the anticipation...I was excited to say the least. I just couldn't wait to see all my family and friends! I had a fun surprise with Aunt Janet and all 3 of her girls being there! Heather had flown in Thursday night, Marilee decided to stay after driving out with Julie and TJ as they moved here earlier in the week... Shae was here visiting her family and had been here for a week or so since her kids were on school break. And with Aunt Sherri, Kacey, and Lindsy living here they too were there to help in the festivities!! Then having Chris & Ruthie here! To say the least I felt very loved and blessed by everyone's support! I can't wait for Drew to meet all his wonderful family!!!
Of course there was really yummy food and everyone was so generous and thoughtful.
So THANK you soooo much, everyone!!
p.s. I'm trying to upload some pics...I just got a new computer..downloaded the pics yesterday from my camera and I'm a dork and am not sure how to find them now...they aren't coming up like they used to....time to call my tech support...hmmm who should I call? Evan, Taylor, or Kendall??
Pictures coming soon! Love ya!

So glad we could be there. Can't wait to meet Drew!
It was so fun to be there! I can't wait to see what he will look like. If all the other Grandchildren are an indication I am going with a Blonde Haired Blue eyed boy that looks like an Ehat!
I'm sad I wasn't there. Please don't forget me.
